Westfield State University operates a 256-acre campus, west of Springfield in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. The campus features ten residence halls and dining commons. A central green space is surrounded by five academic buildings, a library, a campus center, and an interfaith center.

Ellana served as cost estimator on a contract studying the design for general building renovations, repairs and upgrades. The team evaluated existing facility conditions and developed strategies for the renovation, repair or upgrades of campus facilities that meet the ever-changing needs of the university. Our cost experts prepared rough order of magnitude estimates for a backlog of deferred maintenance and capital repair projects such as repairing building envelopes, elevators, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and improving energy efficiency.

All cost estimates upheld the requirements in the current DCAMM Cost Estimating Manual and were submitted in Uniform II during the study phases.
