University of Connecticut Mansfield Residence and Dining Hall

Ellana is providing cost estimating for the redevelopment of a 450,000-square-foot residence and dining hall. The project includes demolition of the site and existing structure, and the new construction of a 932-bed hall with dining, residential, communal and support spaces. The site features updated site work, landscaping, and plazas and gathering spaces.

Ellana provided costs options for all disciplines and the reconstruction. The project features extensive redesign and reconstruction of the foundation system, super structure and exterior envelope, for the portions of the prior facility to be reused. The team also provided costs for upgrades to the HVAC, MEP and fire protection systems.
