John Miller Dickey Hall is a 60,000 SF, three-story structure, designed by Friday Architects/ Planners of Philadelphia. Dickey Hall houses Lincoln’s main computer facility, departments of mathematics and computer science, various departments in the social science division, computer-equipped classrooms, tutorial rooms, audiovisual-equipped lecture halls, and traditional offices. There is an adjacent parking for about 120 cars. The building is named in honor of the Rev. Dr. John Miller Dickey, who founded Ashmun Institute in 1854. Ashmun was renamed Lincoln University in 1866 in honor of slain U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.
