University of Connecticut Northwest Quad Batterson and Rogers Hall HVAC Upgrades

Home to over 1,000 undergrad students, the Northwest Quad is located on the north side of UConn’s campus and is a short walk to academic buildings. Two of the six dormitories will benefit from improved heating and cooling options when the 2025 academic year begins.

The awarded team led the effort to replace the existing HVAC systems in two dorm buildings: Batterson Hall (45,400 SF) and Rogers Hall (21,700 SF). Ellana prepared cost estimates for this public higher education project which included pricing for:

  • Mechanical rooms HVAC upgrades

  • HVAC air handling unit/system replacements

  • Chiller system repairs

  • VAV replacement and upgrades
