Stony Brook University is continuing their medicine & engineering expansion, with a second building on campus, located adjacent to the recently completed IDC Building. This new building is a three-story, 64,600-square-foot steel and concrete structure, housing experimental wet and dry engineering labs, and associated support space. The site is challenging due to the topography and soils conditions, and includes 5.5 acres of parking, plazas, the new building, and associated infrastructure. The façade is a custom metal panel system with storefront and curtain wall, with brick accents
