Ella is the Founder and Principal of Ellana, bringing numerous decades of experience in cost estimating, construction management, and project controls. Since establishing the firm in 1998, she has provided strategic leadership and independent cost estimating services for a diverse range of public and private clients across nearly all sectors. Her collaborative approach has fostered long-term partnerships with owners, public agencies, design teams, vendors, and industry providers throughout multiple regions, proving herself invaluable in guiding cost and project management. Prior to establishing Ellana, Ella served as lead estimator on numerous high-profile projects nationwide at a major construction management firm. Today, she leverages her expertise to guide a growing team of cost professionals, consistently delivering accurate and reliable cost insight.

 

STEVE BEREZNITSKY

MANAGING DIRECTOR, CMa & OWNER REP SERVICES (CM/OR)

Steve brings extensive professional expertise in the construction industry, specializing in project and program management, constructability and logistics planning, and administration. Managing private client and public agency work in the CM/OR division, he oversees the execution of high-profile, large-scale projects and programs across New York City, spanning both new construction and renovations. Specializing in higher education and healthcare sector projects, he has broad exposure and experience in transportation/infrastructure, interior/exterior rehabilitation, and aviation, along with supplemental consulting experience for financial sector and auditing project clients.

 

HENRY CHIN, RA

VICE PRESIDENT, LEAD COST MANAGER

Henry has been with Ellana since its inception and has built an exemplary professional career in both construction cost estimating and architectural design. A registered architect in New York, his unique combination of estimating and architecture knowledge allows him to work seamlessly with project teams to deliver detailed cost estimates and professional consulting at all stages of design and construction. In his former practice as a Construction Manager, Henry participated in many high-profile New York City and national projects; since joining the Ellana team, his portfolio has further expanded across sectors such as commercial and high-rise, healthcare, cultural, transportation, aviation, education, residential, hospitality, and adaptive reuse.

 

ANDREW DENYER

MANAGING DIRECTOR, COST ESTIMATING

Andrew brings unique expertise in quantity surveying, value engineering, and cost estimating, as well as a background in construction management and general contracting. Over the past 20 years, he has focused on cost consulting, delivering guidance across healthcare, higher education, K-12, housing, civic, transportation, and government projects. As Director of Cost Estimating across all branches at Ellana, he is responsible for overseeing the project process and quality of delivery to clients. Andrew provides strategic cost leadership to owners and design teams, helping them anticipate and mitigate project risks, optimize budgets, and address complex financial challenges throughout design and construction phases. His combination of hands-on experience and cost expertise ensures projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and with lasting value.

 

CLIVE TYSOE, MRICS

MANAGING DIRECTOR, NEW ENGLAND & CALIFORNIA

Clive is a respected leader in cost estimating and quantity surveying with over four decades of experience across the U.S., U.K., and international markets. As Managing Director of New England & California operations, he provides guidance to a variety of clients across a wide spectrum of construction sectors, consistently delivering strategic insight and value on projects from small-scale assignments to multi-million-dollar developments. Renowned for his client-focused approach and ability to manage expectations, he has also led numerous value engineering workshops, enabling clients to evaluate design alternatives, optimize costs, and make informed decisions early in the design process. As a result, he enhances project outcomes and drives excellence across Ellana’s efforts in the New England and West Coast markets.

 

PAUL MCNAMEE, BSc MRICS

REGIONAL MANAGER, MID-ATLANTIC

Paul brings national and international experience in cost estimating, construction management, project management, quantity surveying, and overall project controls to the Ellana team. Operating out of the Mid-Atlantic region since 2012, he holds a deep understanding of the respective market. An instrumental part of the executive team, he manages projects across multiple sectors and regions; clients rely on his expertise in cost estimate preparation through all phases of design and construction, including conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bids and change-order analysis, project value engineering, and design cost assessments.

AMIR ASSARPOUR, PE

SENIOR MANAGER, TRANSPORTATION & INFRASTRUCTURE

Amir is a registered professional engineer in New York with applied experience in cost estimating and management. Overseeing the Ellana team with a specialization in Transportation & Infrastructure, he has led numerous high-impact climate resiliency projects requiring extensive site and geotechnical knowledge. He leverages his civil engineering expertise to effectively manage projects for clients, having provided cost estimating services for projects ranging from under $1M to over $3B across a variety of typologies. His supplemental experience spans architectural, civil, structural, and MEP design, as well as construction scheduling.
