University of Rochester – Hutchison Hall

Hutchison Hall is a planned 34,000sf, 4 story dry lab and faculty office addition at the University of Rochester campus. The project had particular challenges with a sloped, site requiring a basement below the existing water table, and tie-ins to the adjacent existing Hutchison Hall building. Code compliance issues created unique budget constraints that were looked to being solved with creative value engineering sessions.
