Old Stone House Addition
Brooklyn, NY
Old Stone House in Park Slope will be refurbished with a new elevator and staircase as well as an addition containing public restrooms by extending the north side of the building.
The upgrade will reflect the 1930s layout of the site, which is one of 23 historic sites included in the Historic House Trust of New York City’s collection.
Originally built by Claes Vechte in 1699, the Old Stone House is an educational center, cultural resource and the conservancy organization for the surrounding Washington Park. Ellana prepared cost estimates for this historic project. Estimates included pricing for roof repairs, gutters, downspouts, wood windows, shutters, stone pavers, plumbing, electrical upgrades, and mechanical improvements.
