ELLANA provided cost estimating services to Heritage during the conceptual stages of the projects.

The projects consisted of site accessibility upgrades to existing historic structures on site. Both projects required construction of additional parking facilities for visitors. John Jay Homestead is notable for the increased complexity and logistics given the projects historic nature. The job called for land rehabilitation of sizable portions on the property including beech allee restoration, historic stone wall repair, earth moving for pastures and farmland, and tree restoration and removal. Much of the site restoration occurred directly adjacent to existing structures, some of which are a hundred years old -- a very challenging undertaking.
