Broad Channel Library Renovation
Queens, NY
Broad Channel Branch Library opened in 1990. The small library serves 3,000 residents of this isolated Queens neighborhood, surrounded by a nature preserve on a small island in Jamaica Bay.
The design team developed plans to renovate a one-story, 1,700 SF library building that featured the full replacement of the main roof and cupola roof systems.
Ellana’s 90% CD estimate included pricing for replacing facias, gutters, leaders, and soffits, painting the exterior steel in addition to replacing windows, exterior lighting, circuitry, conduit, and mechanical exhaust fans.
