Ellana provided scheduling and cost estimating at conceptual and design phases for a the Design/Build project that includes a new AC-DC traction power substation to replace the aging LIRR Penn Station Traction Power Substation (E01). Scope includes partial demolition of an existing substation, installation of flood mitigation strategies, and costs for all disciplines for a new facility. The LIRR Penn Station Traction Power Substation provides control and power to AMTRAK through a Breaker House which can not be affected during the replacement of the LIRR Penn Station Traction Power Substation.

The estimates and reports Ellana provided establish budget guidelines for the Owner and included abatement and bid support work.
