Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) maintains the operation of highways, railroads, mass transit systems, ports, and waterways throughout Connecticut. Ellana provided cost estimating services for this new 129,800 SF headquarters for CTDOT’s District 1 featuring a materials testing lab, signal lab, and sign shop facility.

The program for this modernized facility includes District 1 functions (construction, surveys, maintenance, human resources, and bridge safety), materials testing lab, signal lab, and sign shop. The original materials testing lab and signal lab will remain functional during construction of the new facility.

Ellana’s estimate includes MEP systems, sitework, vertical transportation, life safety systems, and laboratory elements as well as special interiors equipment and furnishings.
