MBTA Electrification and Steam System Replacement

Cost estimating for an in-kind steam system replacement, including new boilers and steam distribution, traps and coils, and the partial electrification of loads and systems within each building. The project required optioneering of various technologies, including air-to-air VRF pumps, hydronic exhaust air heat recovery, air-to-water pumps, new hydronic piping and retofit coils, and condensing gas boilers for supplementary heat.
