MBTA South Acton Station

Ellana provided cost estimating services directly to the program manager under, a term services contract, for the design of a new, ground-up construction of South Acton Station,along the Fitchburg line.

The reconstruction is part of the ongoing upgrades to the Fitchburg Line infrastructure and includes a second track to the Acton-Ayer section. The new station features separate platforms for inbound and outbound service, both full-length high-level for accessible boarding. The tracks are connected via a pedestrian bridge with elevators on both sides.
