Old Chesterfield Road Booster Pump Station & Watermain Rehabilitation
Winchester, NH
The client led a team to design a booster pump station to increase pressures in the Old Chesterfield Road area as well as 8,800 linear feet of new water main and appurtenances on Old Chesterfield Road, Howard Street, and Clark Road. The scope of work featured: 1) replacing the existing water main; 2) designing a new Old Chesterfield Road booster pump station via pre-engineered modular precast concrete structure (12” thick slab on grade | 54” of stone bedding under the slab with foundation drain; 3) installing two hydropneumatics tanks and three booster pumps; and 4) constructing a retaining wall.
Ellana prepared cost estimates for this project which included pricing for earthwork, concrete, joint sealants, signage, prefabricated precast concrete building (walls, floor slab, roof slab), hydropneumatics tank, copper piping, exhaust fans, propane gas fired generator, and lighting.
