New York, NY

ELLANA provided cost estimating services to Stantec at the schematic, at the 50%, and 100% design phases of project development.

The EMG project is the development of a park with pedestrian and bicycle paths on a platform held up by a combination of new and repurposed caissons within the East River. This platform will run parallel to the FDR Drive, starting with a connection from 54th street via a new overpass bridge, runs north below the Queensboro Bridge, and connects to Andrew Haswell Green Park. The overpass bridge which connects the EMG to 54th St. will be prefabricated off site and will be placed into its’ final position over the FDR Drive during the night shift. The entire EMG alignment is set to be constructed above the 100 year flood elevation. As part of the scope of work Sutton Place Park at 54th Street will also be renovated.
