Hamilton Fish Recreation Center and Pool Reconstruction

Located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, this public project named for a former New York State governor will reconstruct the recreation center and feature a full roof replacement, new restrooms and construction of an ADA lift. The Hamilton Fish outdoor pool was built during the Great Depression and remains a popular summer venue. A pool filter building, pool tub, and pool deck also will be restored. Hamilton Fish is part of Let’s Swim NYC, which provides capital investment to improve New York City’s public pools over the course of five years.
