Cambridge Urban Forest Master Plan

Cambridge, MA

The City of Cambridge, Massachusetts contains 20,000 trees, 13,000 of those are along the street. The city saw a need for a report to be developed would give an overview of the trees, present findings and make recommendations for the care of the trees and strategies to improve coverage. We supported with cost estimating and analyzed the cost-benefit for efforts like planting 1,200 trees, re-building/narrowing streets, changing city ordinances, updating best practices and improving maintenance.
