Fair Acres Geriatric Center is the largest skilled nursing facility in Pennsylvania and can accommodate up to 774 residents at any given time.
Ellana prepared cost estimates for the major renovation of the 35,400 SF Building 19 which serves as the Medical Examiner Office (MEO). The project expands this function while also providing space to relocate Library Services and allow for swing space for Archives.
The facility features pathology spaces such as autopsy rooms, cooler areas, tissue recovery, x-ray room, specimen storage, isolation body freezer, and an isolation autopsy room.
The scope of work included a new vehicle sallyport addition for MEO use only and retaining the covered loading area for library use.
