As the largest agency in Pennsylvania, PADOC maintains correctional institutions and community corrections centers across the state. Through educational opportunities and treatment programs, it prepares incarcerated individuals for a successful reentry back into the community. Ellana provided cost estimating services for this planning project which featured high-level review options to increase capacity across the state.
The facility size ranged from 1,900 SF to 83,000 SF of mostly two-story structures. The team created strategic facility plans for the following locations: Albion (medical renovation), Cambridge (new medical), Camp Hill (staff wellness renovation), Camp Hill (housing renovation), Town Coalship (medical renovation), Dallas (medical renovation), Dallas (new medical), Fayette (new staff wellness), Frackville (new admin), Huntingdon (new housing), Mercer (new classrooms), Mercer (new medical), Muncy (admin renovation), Muncy (new visit & rec), Pine Grove (medical renovation), and Way Mart (medical renovation).
