Lynn District Courthouse
Lynn, MA
Originally constructed in 1972 on a one-acre site, Lynn District Courthouse is slated for a major rehabilitation and addition. This project includes the complete renovation of the existing 41,000 SF building layout and mechanical/HVAC systems, as well as security systems upgrades, accessibility upgrades, envelope, structural repairs, and sitework improvements. The addition will encompass three levels and a basement.
Cross circulation improvements for issues that result from shared paths of travel (for staff, detainees, and the public), space deficiencies, and operational issues will also be addressed.
