NYC SCA P.S. 533 New Elementary School

Public School X533 will be a new 84,000 SF elementary school sited at 6389-6393 Broadway in the North Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx. The facility will accommodate 547 students from pre-K, kindergarten, grades 1 through 5, and District 75.

Pre-K and kindergarten programs will occupy the lower floors of the school building for easy access from the main entry and access to the raised playground. District 75 programs are clustered on one floor. As students travel vertically through the building, grades of the instructional classrooms get higher. Shared large program spaces are located near the main circulation to minimize disruptions to the instructional classrooms.

Ellana is preparing cost estimates for every phase of design. Our team is developing costs for HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, landscaping, demolition of existing buildings, stormwater management, playground equipment, and building materials.
