Ellana prepared an estimated budget for the existing conditions of building components and energy conservation measures at the Fairmount Family Development (FDD).
The Fairmount Family Development is a family housing development consisting of 182 two-story townhouse units, with twenty additional apartments in five brick buildings. Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, the development was built in 1950.
Ellana completed three tasks: 1) estimated the costs associated with the FFD baseline existing conditions for the architectural building components, mechanical systems, and electrical systems; 2) estimated the costs related to specific building electrification and decarbonization measures; and 3) assisted with key lifecycle cost estimates for electrification measures and relevant incentives.
