TBTA Bronx-Whitestone and Throgs Neck Bridges, Fender Protection

Ellana provided cost estimates for ROM comparative cost evaluations of five fender protective options at the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge and one option at the Throgs Neck Bridge. At the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge these options included Cofferdam Option, Pile Supported Dolphin Option, Sheet Pile Dolphin Option, Rock Island Option and Sacrificial Bollard Pile Option. At the Throgs Neck Bridge we estimated the cost of the removal of the existing fender system and its replacement with the Concrete Strut and Perimeter Pile Cap fender system.
