United States Merchant Marine Academy Electrical Upgrade

Ellana provided cost estimating services at various stages of design for the construction of a new substation building with new transformers and associated electrical service equipment.

The west side electrical upgrade of this project aims preparation for future growth and projected increase in electrical loads in connection with the recent renovations of NYC.

The project includes installation of new 15kV medium voltage Con-Edison Service able to accommodate the existing, new and projected loads, replacement of existing Electrical Service distribution equipment and feeders, power monitoring and power logic, and providing computerized energy management system to monitor all feeders in real time including remote monitoring.
