This project involved providing cost estimating services to support Perkins Eastman design team on various conceptual studies for the improvements, renovation and expansion within the Winthrop Hospital campus. Wintrop University Hospital Center – Priority Program for Bed Restoration – project includes renovation of the existing floors and new expansion in order to accommodate additional beds. The project scope covers 41,000 sf ASU addition along with 4,000 sf renovation of the existing ASU on the second floor; 7 new M/S beds at the 2nd floor Gardner Building ilo existing office space; microbiology and dialyses relocation at the Gardner building; 7 sub-acute beds at the Main building 3rd floor West along with office and labs relocation and small office addition on top of the existing roof; 9 new beds at the Main building 3rd and 4th floors East.
