PATH Christopher/9th Street Station Entrances
New York, NY
This project involves providing cost estimating services to the design team at the conceptual design stage for the preparation of an analysis report for both stations and conceptual design for a new station entrance at the 9th Street Station through the Fontana Center building. The logistical challenges include the proposed new 9th Street Station entrance, which includes an underground mezzanine tunnel over the existing PATH lower-level platform tunnel. The scope involved extensive utility relocation, maintenance and protection of traffic, the Fontana Building substructure and structural work, and vertical ingress/egress elements.
