This project involved providing cost estimating services for this 45,000gsf new construction project. The project involved the demolition of the existing connector bridge structure and the in-fill of two (2) existing courtyards. The courtyard in-fill space will be used as records storage and the new construction portion of the building will house administration space on the upper level and building shop space on the lower levels. The existing generator for the building will be relocated to allow the construction of the new space. The team paid particular attention to the logistics for the installation of the steel for the courtyard in-fill portion of the building as this required the partial demolition of existing space in the exterior of the building to allow equipment and material into the courtyard.
