Cost estimating support at all stages of project development. The project scope involved construction of a new 7-story pavilion and renovation of the existing Martin Luther King Building. Work entailed interior alterations; mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades; and system tie-ins with the new building. Services also included value engineering, estimate reconciliation with the construction manager, and participation in the value engineering (VE) workshops at the NYC Office of Management and Budget.

 

St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Manhattan, NY
Construction document cost estimates for the renovation of the existing 8,400-sf tenth floor to accommodate new physicians’ offices, laboratories, and medical testing and reception areas. 

 

Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing, Manhattan, NY
Construction document cost estimates for the full renovation of the existing 21,000-sf fifth floor to accommodate new classrooms, offices, and laboratories.

 

Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, Boiler-Chiller Plant Upgrades, Queens, NY
Cost estimate preparation at all stages of design for a new chiller and boiler plant. The project included construction of the new plant, as well as related upgrades to the existing building, utilities, as well as sitework alterations. 

 

Rockefeller University, Hospital Planning Study, Manhattan, NY
Conceptual cost estimates for the planning phase of this proposed hospital renovation of four floors of the existing buildings totaling 34,000 square feet. The project scope included interior alterations to the outpatient and inpatient floors, administrative offices, and laboratories; replacement of the main kitchen; and construction of a new pharmacy department.
