DESCRIPTION

ELLANA provided cost estimating services to the design team at the conceptual design stage for the preparation of an analysis report for both stations and conceptual design for a new station entrance at the 9th Street Station through the Fontana Center building. The logistically-challenging proposed new 9th Street Station entrance includes an underground mezzanine tunnel over the existing PATH lower-level platform tunnel. The scope involved extensive utility relocation; maintenance and protection of traffic; the Fontana Building substructure and structural work; as well as vertical ingress/egress elements.
