Client: Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners Owner: Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) Contract Duration: 2010 Service Provided: Cost Management: cost estimating DESCRIPTION ELLANA provided cost estimating services to the design team at the conceptual design stage for the preparation of an analysis report for both stations and conceptual design for a new station entrance at the 9th Street Station through the Fontana Center building. The logistically-challenging proposed new 9th Street Station entrance includes an underground mezzanine tunnel over the existing PATH lower-level platform tunnel. The scope involved extensive utility relocation; maintenance and protection of traffic; the Fontana Building substructure and structural work; as well as vertical ingress/egress elements. |
