Ella Bereznitsky, president and owner of Ellana, has three decades of experience in the construction industry in cost estimating, project management and owner representation. As principal of the firm, Ella participates on each Ellana project, providing oversight, guidance and resources as necessary. Her portfolio of relevant project experience includes the residential, hospitality, healthcare, academia, commercial/office, mixed-use developments, and aviation and rail transportation markets, among others.
After moving to New York City from her native Ukraine, Ella worked for Faithful + Gould (then Hanscomb, Faithful & Gould) and Morse Diesel/AMEC before founding Ellana in 1998. Since then, the firm, under Ella’s leadership, garnered participation on notable projects, such as the new One World Trade Center in New York City, a new lounge for Air France at Los Angeles International Airport, and Rutgers University’s IFNH building in New Brunswick, NJ; as well as a new residential development in Woodbridge, VA, the Boat House at Canal Dock in New Haven, CT; a retail complex in Boulder, CO and various projects at Logan International Airport in Boston, MA.

Henry Chin, vice president and principal cost manager, has nearly 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry, specializing in conceptual project budgeting and detailed cost estimating, and serves as the leader of our in-house cost management team. As both a registered architect and a cost manager, Mr. Chin has a unique combination of estimating knowledge with a keen sensitivity to architectural design and costs. His portfolio of relevant project experience includes the commercial/office, aviation, residential, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, gov’t/civic, academia, mixed-use developments, and rail transportation markets, among others.
Prior to joining Ellana in 2003, Henry worked for Morse Diesel/AMEC for nearly 20 years where he participated on notable projects such as: the new Terminal Four at JFK International Airport; the Instructional Arts Facility for Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA; as well as the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the Museum of Natural History in New York City and the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Montville, CT.
Henry also leads our team for value engineering (VE) task orders for various US Department of State - Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) projects, including but not limited to VE cost proposal evaluation, meeting facilitation; independent cost reviews; technical peer reviews; project scope of work definition; non-project specific VE studies; and VE program management assistance. To date, OBO project locations include Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Morocco, Nigeria, Finland, Yemen and Indonesia.

Jason Vesuvio, vice president of marketing & business development, has nearly 15 years of experience as a business developer and professional services marketer in the A/E/C industry, working for international firms such as the Structure Tone Organization, the HNTB Corporation, and New York metropolitan-area construction manager, Pavarini McGovern. In his role, Jason oversees all corporate communications, marketing activities and new business development opportunities, as well as manages the marketing staff.
He is a versatile and creative leader who is experienced in a broad range of business development and marketing practices including new client business development, geographic expansion, new services development, creative direction, and branding; as well as the “hands-on” skills for the preparation of proposals, presentations; and graphic/web design and event planning.
Jason is a member of the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS), New York Chapter and currently serves on its board of directors as the director of professional development.
